Kvitova, Svitolina, Muguruza arrive in Birmingham, Bouchard progresses in qualifying

The first grasscourt Premier-level tournament of the season has started in Birmingham and our Jimmie48 is among the early visitors, bringing us photos of qualifying action and of top players spotted practicing and giving interviews at the Nature Valley Classic.

After two rounds of qualifying, eight players are still alive in the qualifying draw, including former world No.5 Eugenie Bouchard, whose victories over Caroline Dolehide and Priscilla Hon comprise the Canadian’s biggest winning streak since January! In the final round of qualifying, Genie is set to face American Jennifer Brady.

We also have photos of a joint practice session of Daria Kasatkina and Daria Gavrilova, as well as portraits of Elina Svitolina, defending champion Petra Kvitova, Karolina Pliskova, and Garbine Muguruza.

Stay tuned! We’ll keep delivering latest photos from the Nature Valley Classic throughout the tournament.

34 photos of Eugenie Bouchard! I would have hoped this blog wouldn’t perpetuate the fascination with such a non-player.

CLT, you know we always feature a wide variety of players. This is a coincidence, I’d say.
