Cibulkova and Wozniacki unwind in Bratislava

Last month Women’s Tennis Blog informed you that Dominika Cibulkova and Caroline Wozniacki were about to play the Tennis Classic 2011 exhibition in Bratislava. The event took place yesterday and our reader Marine visited it, which she has readily documented on her Tennis Notebook blog.

It was a day of relaxation for the tennis stars, especially for Wozniacki who didn’t take her singles match with Cibulkova seriously and initiated the activities such as champagne drinking, dancing with cheerleaders and impersonation of WTA and ATP players. The crowd found Wozniacki’s moves entertaining and the world No.1 even had a few marriage proposals. As Marine reports, Cibulkova didn’t have an easy task keeping up with Wozniacki’s energy.

Afterwards the fun continued, as veterans Henri Leconte and Mansour Bahrami joined the women’s tennis stars for doubles. They brought in their share of gags and all in all it was a fun event in the capital of Slovakia.

Just a quick note: the post has been updated with the link where you can see the exhibition in full. It’s in Slovak with no subtitles though. Hope your readers won’t mind.
