Silvio Berlusconi joins Francesca Schiavone in French Open celebrations

Francesca Schiavone became the first Italian woman to claim a Grand Slam title by winning the 2010 French Open at the weekend and she deserves nothing less than to get recognition from Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. Schiavone and Berlusconi met at Palazzo Chigi in Rome to celebrate the great moment for both Schiavone and Italian sport.

Jacob, thanks, I also like it. I’d been planning to include it for a long time, but lacked the programming skills. 😛

As for Francesca, why do you think so? I don’t know.

hmmm, i’m not sure. i suppose her style of play and her grunts are very masculine. i just wondered really

when my mommy saw her on TV, she thought it is a man. but I dont think so.

BTW, what a bad choice of dress for her. especially the belt on her hips.. it is just punctuating that she is athletic.

I also don’t like the way she looks in that dress. But I’m used to it, tennis players generally don’t know what to wear off the court and often choose something ridiculous, even for example Wozniacki who is not as athletic.

i dont like the fact wozzy is working fur. and also her “mermaid dress” on a players party were creepy.
but some players have a sense of style like serena, ana or JJ.

LuLinQa, I think Sharapova makes least fashion mistakes. And I also think that Serena, Ana and JJ can often look ridiculous, especially JJ, hm, and Serena.

OH G i forgot about uor fashion queen Masha! 🙁
I have never seen Ana looking ridiculous.

LuLinQa, a better expression is that Ana can look clumsy in some outfits, you know, like she doesn’t look confident, she often chooses bad matches.

well yeah, she looks kinda modest, she misses that diva-look like masha has. but i like her style, she is feminine and casual, but sometimes, u know, just too modest.

Actually she looks very attractive and feminine with some dresses, and Lauga Biagiotti dress is definitely the best.I heard that Berlusconi meeting dress iwas from Armani and the belt is interesting and probably also selected by the professinal. At least in one picture
    she looks just perfect.
I hope that Francesca will consider letting her magnificant hair to grow longer again even if for practical purposes it may be easier to play with short hair. Good example here
