New WTA Tour rankings have come out today, and top 10 looks the same. Justine Henin is still the leader with 4457 points, while Maria Sharapova remains second ranked, despite 430 points earned with the victory at the Acura Classic in San Diego on Sunday.

Top 20 welcomed one new member – Sybille Bammer of Austria. The 27-year-old took the place of China’s Na Li, who has been sidelined by rib injury and hasn’t competed in tournaments since DFS Classic in Birmingham.

Nicole Vaidisova also suffered a significant drop in the rankings, falling from No. 11 to No. 16. The Czech only recently resumed training after a month-long illness, and she wasn’t able to defend the points earned by reaching the 2006 Acura Classic semifinal.
