I consider Russia’s Maria Kirilenko the most beautiful female tennis player and this fashion spread on her website is simply stunning. Enjoy these great photos!

Second seed Maria Kirilenko won the Torneo Barcelona KIA on Sunday with a comfortable 6-0 6-2 victory over Spanish wild card Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez in the final.
It is Kirilenko's second Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles title of the year and the fourth of her career. This season the Russian also won at Estoril, Portugal, in April.
The 21-year-old Kirilenko, who will climb to 19th in the world rankings on Monday, dominated in the first set and closed it out in 39 minutes. Martinez Sanchez, who was playing her first WTA final, produced resistance only during Kirilenko's second service game.

I’ve just come across Maria Kirilenko’s new official website and there are plenty of nice photos of the tennis star when she was a little girl. Here you can see some of her first wins, as well as some of her first photos on the tennis court.

Seed No.27 Maria Kirilenko defeated sixth seed Anna Chakvetadze 6-7, 6-1, 6-2 in the third round of the Australian Open.
Robbery-affected Chakvetadze won the opening set in a thrilling tie-breaker. But Kirilenko ignored the fact that her opponent had a fantastic 28-1 win-loss record in Grand Slams after taking the first set, and got her way to victory even though Chakvetadze saved four match points.

Austrian phenomenon Tamira Paszek defeated second seed Maria Kirilenko of Russia 6-1, 6-3, and became the first semifinalist at the 2008 ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand.
Sixth-seeded Paszek was happy with her on court performance. "I didn't miss many shots," she says, adding that she felt she had her rhythm.
Other quarterfinal matches are Vera Zvonarevia vs. Marina Erakovic (at the moment I’m writing this they’re playing the third set), Katarina Srebotnik vs. Aravane Rezai, and Lindsay Davenport vs. Sara Errani. (source: TVNZ)
France’s Tatiana Golovin and Russia’s Maria Kirilenko both clinched WTA singles titles on Sunday.
Top seed Golovin beat home favorite Katarina Srebotnik 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 to win the Slovenia Open in Portoroz for her second career title, while fourth seed Kirilenko won an innovative Sunfeast Open trophy (traditional Indian painting) in Kolkata, defeating Mariya Koryttseva of Ukraine 6-0, 6-2 in the final.
World No.19 Golovin lost in the first round of the US Open, so she played the smaller Portoroz event in an attempt to regain her rhythm.
"My form is up again," said the 19-year-old Frenchwoman. "I have a feeling that my strikes are like at the start of the season."
World No.35 Kirilenko faced no difficulty in outplaying a first-time singles finalist Koryttseva who made too many errors.
"It's been a great week. I didn't expect the final to be so easy," said Kirilenko. (sources: Tennis X, ESPN; photos via Tennis Fairy, TSF)
In a dramatic third round match of the Acura Classic in San Diego, Maria Kirilenko earned the biggest victory of her career with a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 win over second seed Jelena Jankovic. The Russian, unseeded and ranked 42nd in the world, booked her place in the Friday quarterfinals where she will face ninth seed Elena Dementieva.
World No. 3 Jankovic, however, won’t be losing ranking points since she had been sent home in the third round of the Acura Classic in the past two years. Additionally, despite the loss, the Serb has already qualified for the prestigious Sony Ericsson Championships in Madrid, together with Justine Henin.
