Dinara Safina, Dominika Cibulkova in Rogers Cup final

Seventh seed Dinara Safina and unseeded Dominika Cibulkova are the finalists at the 2008 Rogers Cup in Montreal.
Slovakian Cibulkova came back in her rain-interrupted semifinal against Marion Bartoli to defeat the Frenchwoman 4-6 6-4 6-3. In the other semifinal, Safina beat 11th-seeded Victoria Azarenka 6-0 2-6 6-3.
World No.31 Cibulkova defeated fifth-seeded Elena Dementieva, 12th-seeded Nadia Petrova, second-seeded Jelena Jankovic and now the 10th-seeded Bartoli to reach her second career WTA Tour final. World No.2 Jelena Jankovic missed another chance to take the top ranking from fellow Serb Ana Ivanovic losing to Slovakian teenager Dominika Cibulkova in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
In the second set, Jankovic played below par and her movement was not very good.

Love between the ATP and WTA is on the rise. Slovakian women’s tennis player Dominika Cibulkova and French ATP player Gael Monfils are dating. Their relationship began in Miami, and ever since they’ve been inseparable.
