The highest-ranked Austrian ATP player Jurgen Melzer likes mingling with top WTA players and after Russian Anastasia Myskina (who is now expecting her third child), Czech Nicole Vaidisova (now married to Radek Stepanek) and Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova (remember their famous photos from a vacation in Maldives?), the handsome Austrian is now dating Czech 28-year-old Iveta Benesova.

Before Benesova, Melzer was dating Austrian swimmer Mirna Jukic, a retired 2008 Beijing Olympics bronze medalist. Jukic and Melzer started dating in spring 2009 and the announcement of their separation came after Wimbledon 2011. At that Wimbledon Melzer and Benesova experienced great bonding by winning their first mixed doubles title. Here's the video of their Grand Slam victory:

Anastasia Myskina is pregnant again, for the third time in four years and the baby is a boy.

The 30-year-old already has two sons: Zhenya born in April 2008 and another baby boy born in August 2010. She is expected to give birth to her third child in March 2012.

As reported by Craig Gabriel for the Fed Cup, Myskina says that her two sons are very different – the older one is more attached to her, while the younger one is more with his father. Myskina laughingly added:

The next one is also a boy. I have like a soccer or hockey team. No tennis, for men I don’t think it’s a good thing!

There has been a lot of mystery and controversy regarding the identity of the children's father (if it is even the same father). Also, I still haven't heard the name of her second son. Do any of you have more info? It would be highly appreciated.

In a 2009 interview for Russian OK! Magazine Myskina kind of said a bit more about her love life:

I have been with my current partner for three and half years (who is also the father of her son Zhenya). We met at a gathering. Everything was logical and not romantic. I think he has never watched tennis. My husband is a businessman and he is quite far from any sports. I am not planning to say his name, he is quite private and I don’t see any need to publicize our relationship.

Top seed Ksenia Pervak of Russia advanced to the final of the Tashkent Open without losing a set all week and after trailing 4-1 in the second set against Urszula Radwanska in the semis before winning 6-2 6-4. Pervak's opponent in the title match will be first-time WTA finalist, Eva Birnerova, who had a retirement victory over Alla Kudryavtseva.

Kudryavtseva considered the Tashkent Open her lucky charm, as she won her maiden title there last year and since then she hadn't gone further than quarterfinals at any tournament until this week's Tashkent Open semis. However, her luck in Uzbekistan suffered a setback when the Russian had to withdraw from the match with a left hamstring strain during the second set even though she won the first set 6-3.

Currently ranked 115th, Czech Birnerova is sure to surpass her career high of No.51 regardless of the outcome of the final. It will be the first meeting between her and Pervak.

Notable thing about the Tashkent Open is also the presence of former world No.2 Anastasia Myskina, who became the first Russian woman to win a Grand Slam when she triumphed at the French Open in 2004. Anastasia Myskina’s two-year-old son Zhenya will get a brother or sister, according to the Russian press. One blog says that the father is rumored to be a hockey player, Myskina’s long-time boyfriend and father of her first child. Although, I don’t remember the father of Zhenya has even been publicly confirmed. Even Myskina’s Wikipedia page currently states: "Myskina announced that she was pregnant with her first child, due in May 2008. She has previously dated Russian hockey player Konstantin Korneyev, but refuses to state the name of the father. On April 28, 2008 Myskina gave birth to her first child, a boy named Zhenya."

Myskina has been out of action on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour for almost a year now, and she has not made any announcements on whether or not she will return to the Tour. The Muscovite, who turns 27 this summer, has 10 career Tour singles titles. She was the first Russian woman to win a Grand Slam singles title at the French Open in 2004. Former world number two Anastasia Myskina is apparently pregnant, but at the moment without a man by her side.

In an interview for Russian newspaper Tvoi Den, Myskina revealed that she is four months pregnant and is due in May. Myskina has broken up with her most recent boyfriend, Russian hockey player Constantine Korneyev, and therefore was reluctant to talk about the baby’s father.

"That topic is closed. I’ll just say that I am not getting married in the near future. I am a single person. I don’t know about the baby’s gender yet, and I haven’t decided yet where I will give birth—in Russia or abroad," said Myskina, the 2004 French Open champion. (source: Tennis Info Blog)
