Ana Ivanovic was seen chilling with her boyfriend Adam Scott in one of her favorite countries, Spain. More precisely, they were hanging out on the island of Mallorca, where Ivanovic has a dream house.

The world No.57 has some more time to enjoy spring, having decided to skip Fed Cup World Group Play-offs against Slovakia, to take place in her home Belgrade, Serbia, over the weekend. The reason Ivanovic will not play Fed Cup this time is the current bad state of her career, which we hope relaxing moments with the Australian golfer and the beauties of Spain can heal.

Ana Ivanovic decides to skip Fed Cup tie against Slovakia

Ana IvanovicAna Ivanovic is desperately trying to find her form and the Serbian tennis star who was always there for her Fed Cup team has decided to skip the next month’s tie against Slovakia, believing that it is the right thing to do having in mind her current bad career situation.

The Serbian Tennis Federation and the world No.58 discussed the issue and agreed that it would be best for her not to play this time.

"We all know that Ana has been through some very tough experiences lately and we support her in her efforts to do everything possible to return to the top. Ana has all the time in the world, she is only 22, and she’ll be back soon," said the President of the Federation Slobodan Zivojinovic. Agnieszka Radwanska defeats Ana Ivanovic in the third round of Miami

Ana Ivanovic

Ana Ivanovic vs. Agnieszka Radwanska was a highly-anticipated Miami encounter as we all wanted to see whether Ivanovic could follow up her second-round victory over qualifier Pauline Parmentier (yes, nowadays we count such wins when it comes to Ana) with a victory over Radwanska – and, unfortunately, the answer is "no".

Radwanska is ranked ninth, seeded sixth at the Sony Ericsson Open, and is coming off her semifinal appearance at Indian Wells last week. However, Ivanovic had a 3-1 record against the Pole and with the new coach by her side we were hopeful Radwanska could be a surmountable obstacle. Still, the Serb, who was believe it or not seeded at the Sony Ericsson Open, fell to Radwanska 7-5 7-5. (photo: Twenty90seven)

Ana Ivanovic wins first match at Sony Ericsson Open 2010

Seed No.25 Ana Ivanovic followed up her win over fellow Serb Novak Djokovic and Spice Girl Mel B (yes, that counts!) with a comfortable 6-4 6-3 victory over qualifier Pauline Parmentier to advance to the third round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.

The victory should give a little boost to Ivanovic’s shaken confidence, now even being hit by the 22-year-old’s drop out of Top 50 for the first time since 2005. The last match Ivanovic won prior to today's one had been at the Australian Open in January, and the former world No.1 has now ended her four-match losing streak, the longest for the 2008 French Open champion since turning professional.

Glam.Slam.Match mixed doubles exhibition celebrates the opening of the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open

Ana Ivanovic may be out of Top 50 as of this week, but partnered with music star Jay Sean, the former world No.1 is still tougher than her friend second-ranked ATP player Novak Djokovic and Spice Girl Mel B.

The four stars played an exclusive Glam.Slam.Match mixed doubles exhibition organized to celebrate the opening of the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open. The match was fiercely fought, but Jay Sean and Ana Ivanovic came out on top and have been crowned the winners.

Remember, Maria Sharapova was supposed to play this event, but due to an injury had to be replaced by Ivanovic.

Enjoy the highlights of the event!

Ivanovic is the 25th seed at the Sony Ericsson Open and has a bye in the first round.
