Don't you love the American-flag tube socks and the accompanying red shoes? Bethanie looks awesome in her Under Armour outfit with accessories that perfectly match the US Open occasion.

Bethanie is known for her experiments with fashion and her most recent took place before and during Wimbledon, when she incorporated tennis balls in her player party and on-court outfits.

Venus Williams shocked with her EleVen US Open dress as much as she did with her subsequent abrupt withdrawal due to a long-undiagnosed syndrome.

Top seed Caroline Wozniacki and Stella McCartney absolutely failed to inspire with a white dress much more suitable for Wimbledon. Why not use colors for the US Open when you can?

Regular Adidas prepared a lovely collection for the US Open, with dominant colors being pink, blue and white, and all the players wearing it look perfect. Above you can see Simona Halep, Andrea Petkovic and Maria Kirilenko in Adidas Fall Barricade clothes, while Ana Ivanovic and Sorana Cirstea are cled in Adidas Fall Adizero Feather collection.

Ellesse luckily has Galina Voskoboeva stealing the spotlight from Nadia Petrova. While Petrova's print makes your eyesight blurry, Voskoboeva is attracting all the right attention with the fluffy dress that suits her perfectly.

We have already talked a lot about Nike and you know everything about their US Open apparel (Maria Sharapova's and Serena Williams' dresses, Sharapova's jacket, Li Na's and Victoria Azarenka's outfits), so here's just a collage of photos which is also featuring Sabine Lisicki, a new representative of Nike.

Besides Vera Zvonareva, K-Swiss had Alona Bondarenko and Alexandra Dulgheru representing it. Dulgheru will remember this US Open for her stunning first round victory over reigning Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova.

Jelena Jankovic was working a yellow Anta dress, while Dominika Cibulkova sported a white, black and purple Lacoste dress (Samantha Stosur is wearing a similar dress, just that colors are distributed differently).

Svetlana Kuznetsova is a perfect match with Fila sportswear brand. It's a pity that Fila's Kim Clijsters, twice defending champion at the US Open, had to miss the tournament.

My favorites this US Open are Maria Sharapova's night dress, Adidas Adizero tank and skort on Sorana Cirstea, Galina Voskoboeva looked cute in the white Ellesse dress, and Fila on Svetlana Kuznetsova is a good combination. Also, Bethanie Mattek Sands' outfit has a thumbs up from me. What do you think? Which styles do you prefer?

I'll start with adidas, my overall favorite, as they always make outfits that have a glamorous touch but can also be easily worn at everyday practice.

Daniela Hantuchova and Ana Ivanovic are sporting pink adidas Women's Fall adilibria Dress.

Russians Dinara Safina and Maria Kirilenko are cled in adidas Barricade Top and Skort.

Caroline Wozniacki is looking great in Stella McCartney Tennis Performance Dress, contrasting nicely with Tennis Performance Bra Top. Elena Dementieva and Yonex once again failed to impress with design and fellow blogger C Note, who saw the dress live at the US Open, said that it even looks two sizes too big on Dementieva.

As usual for a Grand Slam, Maria Sharapova has two versions of a Nike dress – one for day matches and a darker piece for night. When we reviewed the dresses from the photos prior to the Open they looked somewhat questionable, but when seen on Sharapova they are a perfect match. You can see the dresses closer here and here.

Aravane Rezai and Bethanie Mattek Sands always like to stand out from the crowd, in their own way. However, this time their spotlight was stolen by Nadia Petrova.

Venus Williams is debuting two designs from her revived EleVen collection.

Svetlana Kuznetsova and Agnes Szavay are wearing Fila.

Also in Fila is defending champion Kim Clijsters, who has day and night outfit this time. For her day matches the Belgian is working the Center Court Cap Sleeve Top paired with the Center Court Skort, while at night she's wearing the Center Court Dress.

Lacoste representatives are Gisela Dulko and Samantha Stosur.

Alona Bondarenko's K-Swiss stripes also got noticed, while Chinese ANTA, just like many other brands, opted for purple for Jelena Jankovic's US Open dress.

The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour posted a selection of photos from the wedding of Alona Bondarenko and her coach Nikolay Dyachok. The wedding took place in July and now we get to see that Alona had a wedding dress afterall, although the news was that they got married in an informal ceremony wearing jeans.

In the above photo you get to see Alona’s bridesmaids, including her younger sister Kateryna Bondarenko.

Ukraine’s No.1 Alona Bondarenko married her coach Nikolay Dyachok on Thursday. The couple got married in an informal style, wearing jeans and T-shirts that said "Just Married."

"As athletes we have to get married in something sporty," said the 25-year-old Bondarenko. "[We] didn't want pompous outfits."

In addition to the official marriage, there was a reception for 300 guests on Saturday.

The world No.2 Wozniacki started this claycourt season well, by defending her MPS Group Championships title and reaching the semifinals of the Family Circle Cup in Charleston, but the injury the Dane sustained there has, not surprisingly, affected her later results and she fell in the second round of Stuttgart, Rome and now Madrid.

However, Wozniacki keeps her hopes high for the upcoming claycourt Grand Slam: "I really think I am going to be okay for the French Open."

Many other seeds were just as unlucky as Wozniacki in the second-round action at the Madrid Open. Sixth seed Elena Dementieva fell to Romanian Alexandra Dulgheru 6-1 3-6 7-5. It is Dulgheru’s second Top 10 win, and her first one came just last week against Dinara Safina. Patty Schnyder defeated ninth seed Agnieszka Radwanska 3-6 6-4 6-4, Anabel Medina Garrigues crushed seed No.12 Marion Bartoli 6-2 6-0, while Andrea Petkovic saved nine set points in the first set and then defeated No.14 seed Flavia Pennetta 7-6(3) 6-3.

Jelena Jankovic followed her countrywoman Ana Ivanovic out of the Australian Open, losing to Ukrainian seed No.31 Alona Bondarenko 6-2 6-3 in the third round.

The eighth-seeded Jankovic became the second highest women’s seed to be knocked out of the tournament, after seed No.5 Elena Dementieva lost in the second round . The Serb committed forty unforced errors and lost to Bondarenko for the first time in 10 encounters. Previously, Jankovic had lost just one set to Bondarenko in nine meetings.

The world No.30 Bondarenko has now reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time.

Ukraine’s Alona Bondarenko claimed her second career WTA title by beating Israel’s Shahar Peer 6-2 6-4 in the final of the Moorilla Hobart International.

Despite dropping serve twice in the second set Bondarenko won her first title since Luxembourg in 2006.

Peer wasn’t satisfied with her performance, saying she couldn’t find her rhythm throughout the match. Last year Peer won back-to-back titles in Guangzhou and Tashkent, after a three-year drought.

Alona Bondarenko is that gutsy lady!

Victoria Azarenka, Dominika Cibulkova, Alona Bondarenko and Anna Chakvetadze appear in this month’s French edition of FHM, an international monthly men's lifestyle magazine.

The French Open will soon reach its full swing, which is the best timing for the photos to come out. However, two of these four tennis players are already out of the tournament. Chakvetadze and Bondarenko went out in the first round. Actually, Cibulkova defeated Bondarenko in that match, and the Slovakian, just like Azarenka, is still in, awaiting her third-round match.

The world No.39 Bondarenko defeated Britain’s No.1 Anne Keothavong 6-2 7-5, and as the result shows, the Ukrainian was pushed harder in the second set. Just to mention that Keothavong was the first British woman to reach the last four of a WTA claycourt event since 1983.

Bondarenko, victor over Maria Sharapova in the Warsaw Open quarterfinals, will play world No.201 Alexandra Dulgheru in the title match. Dulgheru upset the 36th-ranked Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia 6-4 6-7 (2) 6-1. The 19-year-old qualifier converted eight of 10 break points to reach the final in her WTA Tour main draw debut.
