Look how Agnieszka Radwanska portrayed her colleague world No.1 Jelena Jankovic.

Well, Agnieszka did present Jelena’s movement and hairdo very well, but the ball in the face should have been left out. Why would she draw Jelena like that and look so proud showing the drawing!

As for the tennis fans, opinions about Aga’s work of art differ (the following ingenious comments were mostly taken from Forty Deuce).

Ivanovic, Radwanska unhappy about WTA Tour’s 2009 Roadmap calendar

Ana IvanovicThe Sony Ericsson WTA Tour’s 2009 Roadmap calendar features drastic differences to the current one and some tennis players expressed their dissatisfaction.

The aim of the historic reforms and the new calendar is to create a more fan friendly and healthier system, to more consistently deliver stars to top events and reduce withdrawals. But do players agree?

Ana Ivanovic and Agnieszka Radwanska believe that the new rules are constraining the players too much.

The WTA’s new Roadmap is supposed to reduce the number of tournaments and shorten the season for the players’ benefit, but here’s what Ana Ivanovic thinks:

"I do believe it’s going to be a lot of tournaments we have to commit to and it’s maybe going to be a little bit harder in that sense. We don’t have much opportunity to choose, and at the end of the day it might be that we play more matches than we did in previous years. Read more »

Venus Williams eases past Agnieszka Radwanska at the US Open

Venus WilliamsVenus Williams reached the quarterfinals of the US Open for the ninth time as she defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in straight sets 6-1 6-3.

The seventh-seeded Williams quickly won the first set, and staved off a mini-fightback by the Polish ninth seed in the second.

Svetlana Kuznetsova stunned by Agnieszka Radwanska in Wimbledon fourth round

Svetlana Kuznetsova at Wimbledon 2008Fourth-seeded Svetlana Kuznetsova followed Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic out of Wimbledon. For the first time in history none of the top four women's seeds have reached the quarterfinals at the All England Club.

Kuznetsova was defeated in the fourth round by world No.11 Agnieszka Radwanska. The 19-year-old Pole, who won the Eastbourne title before arriving at Wimbledon, broke the Russian at 5-3 and 5-5 in the decider before serving out for a 6-4 1-6 7-5 triumph.

In the quarterfinals Radwanska will play sixth seed Serena Williams.

Agnieszka Radwanska beats Nadia Petrova to win International Women's Open

Agnieszka Radwanska wins EastbourneAgnieszka Radwanska of Poland clinched the International Women's Open title at Eastbourne defeating Nadia Petrova 6-4 6-7 (11) 6-4 in today’s final.

Fourth-seeded Radwanska took the first set, but didn’t convert three match points in the second set and Petrova leveled on her fourth set point. The final set was also close, but the 19-year-old Radwanska secured the decisive break at 5-4 and served out for victory.

Winning her third title of the year, after Pattaya and Istanbul, world No.11 Radwanska joins Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova as the only players to have won three titles in 2008. (source: BBC, photo via Yahoo)
