There’s no stopping for the WTA ladies! Luxembourg’s Mandy Minella played Wimbledon while being four and a half months pregnant and the 32-year-old has now officially rejoined the competitive circuit, just a little over three months since giving birth to daughter Emma Lina.

The first stop in Minella’s return was a $25,000 ITF event in Grenoble, France, and even though the former world No.66, seeded second at the tournament, lost to France’s Fiona Ferro 6-2 6-4 in the first round, we have to praise her effort to get back to business so shortly after delivering a new life to this world.

When you enjoy what you’re doing, success is inevitable, sooner or later, and Minella is definitely motivated to get back in shape while having a baby by her side. If you follow her on Instagram, you know she’s been practicing at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, with the help of her coach and husband Tim Sommer.

Now let’s be patient for a few more days and see how Serena Williams will fare in the upcoming weekend’s first-round Fed Cup tie against the Netherlands in Asheville, North Carolina, the American’s first official competition since the birth of her baby girl on September 1st.
