The 2017 BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global give tennis fans an opportunity to watch the season’s best eight players face each other, but the $7,000,000 tournament is not legging behind in tennis fashion either. EleVen and Fila created brand new collections for the prestigious event, some players opted for outfits designed in the time of the US Open, while others are exposing their clothing sponsor’s winter kits.

World number one Simona Halep‘s look is dominated by the loose fit and engineered mesh racerback of her Adidas US Series Tank. The draping armholes give exposure to the contrast integrated bra with removable pads. To balance the dramatic tank, the Romanian pairs it with a simple slim-fit Adidas US Series Skirt made of stretchy double knit fabric for comfortable movement.

Completing Simona’s burgundy look are these Adidas Defiant Bounce shoes in mystery ruby/red night.

Garbine Muguruza prefers stretchy designs that tightly hug her body, as we can see in her Adidas Stella McCartney New York Dress, unique for its seamless construction, wavy silhouette-enhancing lines and two-tone fabric mix. The Spaniard needs long sleeves to get warmer, so she also wears the matching legend blue Adidas Stella McCartney 1/2 Zip Top, featuring perforated panels on the chest and back. The red Barricade BOOST 2017 shoes and wristbands provide a pop of color.

Karolina Pliskova has launched Fila’s Game Day collection, a beautiful blend of timeless colorblocks and pinstripe pattern refreshed with a soft palette of heather grey, white, and furo coral.

The Fila Game Day Racerback Tank features ruching at the bust and built-in shelf bra, while the Game Day Skort has a cute section of pleats on the back.

Elina Svitolina rocks Nike’s cool-toned winter collection: the engineered Premier Slam Tank with large armholes and rounded hem and the tight-fitting Power Spin Skirt, available in two lengths.

The Ukrainian spices up the look with unique floral Nike shoes.

Caroline Garcia works the same outfit, only that the Frenchwoman keeps it simple with footwear, opting for the new collection’s hydrogen blue Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tours.

Venus Williams created the EleVen Primitive Dots collection for the season-ending finale. The American has mixed and matched a number of tops and skirts this week.

Besides the dotted geometric print, peony blue is the color that dominates the new EleVen range.

Caroline Wozniacki has not only been the most impressive player so far at the tournament, losing just four games in her first two matches, but the Dane is also my absolute fashion favorite. I love everything about her outfit: the mixed design construction, seamlessness and tight fit of her Adidas Stella McCartney New York Tank and the way it’s matched with the classic pleated style of the legend blue Adidas Stella McCartney New York Skirt accentuated by a unique asymmetrical shock pink waistband.

The perfection of the outfit makes me not mind that Caro’s red Adidas Stella Barricade BOOST 2017 shoes don’t really match the rest of the ensemble.

Jelena Ostapenko is wearing her well-known US Open outfit designed by musician Pharrell Williams. The clothes captivate with their 70s-inspired argyle mesh fabric that evokes heritage Adidas style, while colorblocks bring a hint of modern art. The Latvian Roland Garros champion made her first appearance at the WTA Finals in the collared Adidas Pharrell NY Tank and the white Adidas Pharrell NY Skirt.

Whose Singapore fashion is your favorite? Do you agree that Wozniacki looks the best?

  1. Svitolina and Garcia wearing the same outfit. It happens too often these days in the WTA. It would not have happened 15+ years ago. Always like Venus with EleVen.

  2. Caro’s dress is the best. Although I like some of the Pharrell Williams designs, this one is way too busy and manages to even make pretty women like Andrea Hlavackova look ugly. Quite like the Fila gear, Nike and Venus (uncharacteristically in her case) ho hum, and really dislike Simona’s outfit – very unflattering.

  3. I liked the Nike outfits. Wasn’t feeling the Caroline Adidas outfit. Didn’t look to good under match conditions – sweat
