Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl during the US Open

Serena Williams has given birth to a baby girl! Could it be a coincidence that the 23-time Grand Slam champion had found out that she was pregnant on the eve of the 2017 Australian Open, which she went on to win (!), and now her baby has arrived while the US Open is in full swing? This baby is telling us something! 🙂

The 35-year-old Serena and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian welcomed their first child at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The baby weighs 6 pounds, 13 ounces.

We first heard about the pregnancy when Serena accidentally posted a photo of her 20-week belly on Snapchat, while later she openly talked about the blessed state and even took some naked photos for Vanity Fair, accompanying them by a story about how she met her soon-to-be husband.

Congratulations to the lucky parents! I can’t wait to see the baby!

Congratulations to Serena and her fiancé on the birth of their healthy baby girl! I need you back in the game ASAP, Serena. It’s good to know you plan to return soon. Get fit, stay healthy, and enjoy the presence of your gracious gift from God and motherhood. She’ll be steamrolling the competition one of these days, just like her mom: THE GOAT=SERENA WILLIAMS.
