Players rock the WTA purple carpet at the Pre-Wimbledon Party 2017

While some players sweated out at the Aegon International in Eastbourne, catching up the schedule because of massive rain delays, some WTA stars enjoyed the most glamorous night in tennis, the Pre-Wimbledon Party 2017 at Kensington Roof Gardens.

New mom on tour Victoria Azarenka was glowing in a romantic Azaelea Dress by Self-Portrait, which is crafted using textured lace and and a contrasting, transparent ladder trim. The wonderful gentle look is rounded out with subtle wavy hairstyle and Sophia Webster’s butterfly sandals.

Jelena Jankovic is totally on-trend with a green ruffle silk dress by Serbian designer Suzana Peric.

JJ completed the busy look with colorful Christian Louboutin shoes and a Swarovski earcuff.

Dominika Cibulkova is always on top of the selfie game and sexy looks. For the Pre-Wimbledon Party, the Slovak, who had lost her opening match while defending her Eastbourne title this week, chose a vamp black off-shoulder lace dress, a sleek straight ponytail, smoky-eye make-up and Alo Diamonds accessories.

Elina Svitolina opted for a silver dress with black lace hem and red studded shoes.

Bethanie Mattek Sands, always eager to experiment with both on-court and off-court fashion, hit the glamorous WTA carpet in oversized purple pants and an asymmetrical crop top.

Fresh 21-year-old Donna Vekic arrived to the party with her boyfriend Stan Wawrinka, wearing a beige mini dress with an open back and silver tassels extending the length of the dress.

Garbine Muguruza bravely showed up in a very unique white blouse with dramatic ruffles and black elegant pants.

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova graced the event in a metallic dress with contrasting white waistband and shoulders.

My favorite looks are Azarenka’s feminine whiteness, then the very sexy look of her dark Pre-Wimbledon Party fashion opposite Cibulkova, and JJ’s ruffles which are the latest trend this season. What are your top picks? What do you think of Muguruza’s extravagant outfit? (photos via WTA and players’ Instagram profiles)

Vika and Jelena look very nice..but I do not like Mugu’s look at all.

Breaking news out of Palm Beach, Florida: Venus Williams involved in a car accident that killed a passenger in another car and it has been stated that Venus was at fault, running a stop light. The family of the deceased is planning to sue her. WOW..how will this affect her status at Wimbledon.

Emman Damian, Donna’s look is great too, although more ordinary than Vika’s and less stunning that Domi’s, IMO. I saw Laura’s dress, I found it great, but not spectacular.

Jim, Garbi’s look is also not my thing, but I admire her braveness to pull off something like that. I saw the Venus news and shared it on Twitter. I was also thinking about how it would affect her emotions at upcoming tournaments. Plus, there seems to be no new EleVen dress for Wimbledon, I thought that that could be the reason.

I don’t even know what garbi was thinking. she looked like a server at restaurant with napkins tied around her shirt

Sru, lol kind of. Personally, I see it as a blend of medieval outfits and outfits for bank accountants 🙂
