In early October I told you that Bojana Jovanovski was planning a wedding in November and today the 24-year-old Serbian tennis star exchanged vows with her long-time partner Milos Petrovic in St. Mark's Church in Belgrade.
Bojana has known her athlete husband since childhood, as they are from the same neighborhood, but their emotions developed after a spontaneous meeting later on in their lives. First they rekindled their friendship and then their love started getting stronger and stronger.
Milos' wedding proposal was the most romantic day of Bojana's life, as he asked her to marry him in a restaurant with a view, at Belgrade's famous Kalemegdan Fortress.
Bojana says that Milos, three years her senior, won her heart with his simplicity, honesty and endless patience for everything that is going on in her life. Milos also proved to be the best conditioning coach Bojana has ever had, which is supported by his advanced sports education (he's currently working on his PhD).
Marriage will not put an end on Bojana's career, on the contrary, her husband said in an interview earlier this year that she is yet to give her maximum on the tennis court. Bojana also said that, for now, children will wait.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple! I'm glad to add another marriage to my WTA Players and their Love Partners page.
