Four Top 20 WTA players joined the field of the inaugural St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy and the Premier-level tournament organized a stunning party at the Four Seasons in Saint Isaac’s Square to kick off the event in style.
World No.11 Belinda Bencic is the top seed at a WTA tournament for the first time in her career. At the players' party, the Swiss wore a black V-neck jumpsuit, highlighted by a statement multi-chain belt.
Having read players' reactions on Twitter, I've concluded that the party was exceptionally entertaining, with an avant-garde fashion show, dancers, and more. Ana Ivanovic, wearing a simple red dress and chandelier earrings that match her engagement ring, enjoyed the show, as well as socializing with her colleagues and other people at the event.

Caroline Wozniacki opted for a nude combination: a faux-wrap blouse and lace knit skirt.
The Dane was the player chosen to officially welcome the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy to the WTA family.
Martina Hingis showed up in a long-sleeved sand dress, while her doubles partner Sania Mirza worked polka dots and elegant small heels. The doubles team is of course the No.1 seed at the tournament and they open up against Jelena Ostapenko and Evgeniya Rodina.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova opted for a casual look.
Alize Cornet, who unfortunately withdrew from the event due to a low back injury, wore a loose red dress and wedges at the party, while Elena Vesnina was the most elegant player in a black lace dress with a discrete bow at the neckline and pointed shoes.
