Just in time for Roland Garros, a young tennis apparel brand is attracting attention to itself in the vibrant world of tennis fashion by joining forces with Estonian No.1 Kaia Kanepi, the winner of four WTA titles and five-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist. The official company name is Sofibella Life.Style, but we can just call it Sofibella. As you can see on their website, Ukrainian Kateryna Bondarenko, who is making her way back after becoming a mom, is also their brand ambassador, as well as Austrian Tamira Paszek.

Sofibella is specialized in women’s clothing, aiming to accompany all active women in their tennis, running, yoga, gym and other activities, and it’s positive to note that most of their products are designed and manufactured in the US. The range of their offer includes tennis dresses, shorts and skirts, tank, short-sleeve and long-sleeve tops, jackets, as well as capris, leggings, tunics and sports bras. And that’s not all, there are also cover-ups and accessories including a variety of cardigans, tunics, scarfs, headbands and visors for the everyday active women.

Sofibella tank and skirt - Kaia Kanepi - French Open

I’ve been informed that at the French Open Kanepi will wear the outfit she worked in Madrid: the Sofibella Balance Racer Tank and the Sofibella Balance Sanaz 13″ Skirt. Plus, the company will use the Madrid photos of our photographer Jimmie48 in their promotional material! 😉

It’s positive to note that most of Sofibella’s design and manufacturing is done in the US, while the company also prides itself on the fabrics they’re using, an award-winning imported Italian fabrics containing the LYCRA® SPORT and LYCRA® BEAUTY certificates and including UV protection, stay-dry agent and anti-bacterial properties.

  1. And they will get a lot of exposure since kanepi’s first opponent is maria. BTW did you see ana’s draw? garcia again
🙁 and also serena vs vika

  2. Emman Damian, isn’t it amazing how may brands we now have? I remember when I started blogging, there were just several brands. Yesterday I finished my pre-Grand Slam outfit unveiling article for the WTA, and it’s so long, while I couldn’t even get to include all the outfits and brands I had in mind.

Sru, yeah, really tough luck for Kanepi, and Sofibella. I still haven’t inspected the draw in detail. I just heard some highlights.

  3. No I meant even if she stays only for match, she’s with maria and her outfit will get lot of exposure because of that. It’s better than playing other lower ranked players on smaller grounds
