World No. 6 Agnieszka Radwanska is yet to reach the No.1 ranking, although she had made it to No.2 in 2012, and is yet to win a Grand Slam title, despite having played the final of Wimbledon. The Pole has now hired legendary Martina Navratilova to help her achieve those career milestones.

Navratilova, winner of 18 Grand Slam titles in singles and an all-time record of 31 in women’s doubles, is excited to start working with Radwanska and her team led by full-time coach Tomasz Wiktorowski. The 58-year-old Czech-born tennis great said that it “should be a fun ride” and I’m sure she will enjoy the cooperation with the crafty Pole, after all, Aga has been proclaimed the Fan Favorite WTA Singles Player for the fourth straight year. (photos: Jimmie48)

  1. Tennis Island, I’m also looking forward to seeing the fruits of this cooperation. Martina certainly knows a thing or two about how to win a GS!
