Fila presents Jankovic's and Goerges' outfits for the 2014 US Open

I took a week off during last week's New Haven, but I made sure to return right on time for the US Open. Before main draw action starts at Flushing Meadows, let me get back into the writing groove with a light fashion article about Fila's US Open 2014 designs for their brightest stars Jelena Jankovic and Julia Goerges.

Jelena Jankovic Fila US Open 2014

Jelena Jankovic, seeded ninth at the US Open, will open up against her fellow Serb Bojana Jovanovski in this bold blue and purple honeycomb dress from Fila's Center Court collection. While the front features abstract print, the back of the item is solid blue, further accentuating JJ's well-shaped silhouette. The cut is classic, no experiments there.

Julia Goerges Fila US Open 2014

One of Julia Goerges' outfits for the last Grand Slam of the season will include this color-block tank and coral skort with white side stripes. Goerges faces seed No.11 Flavia Pennetta in the first round.

The dress and separates probably exist in other colors as well, but we'll get more info once the items become available at Tennis Warehouse.
