Agnieszka Radwanska cashes in on her love of cheesecakes

Agnieszka Radwanska Cheesecake Factory

Tennis players are no strangers to endorsing sweets, Li Na is the face of Haagen-Dazs icecream, Maria Sharapova has her own candy brand Sugarpova, and now Agnieszka Radwanska is becoming the ambassador of restaurant chain the Cheesecake Factory, known for its generous portions and high calorie counts.

It may seem strange that the American brand, which has 181 US locations and only three outside of the country, chose a Polish player for its promoter. The reason is that Radwanska has for years expressed her love of their products when touring in the United States and now they are just going to pay her for sharing her sincere affection for the food on social media.

Radwanska will wear the Cheesecake Factory logo on her visor at the upcoming BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and all her future tournaments in the US. Other sponsors of Radwanska include: Lexus, Lotto, Amica, Rado, Babolat, Dayli and Play. (source: Sports Business Daily)

This is pretty cool. There is a chat scheduled on Thursday: https://twitter.com/Cheesecake/status/440898673824657408. Aggie has tweeted and blogged many times about the cakes especially when in Stanford as there is a restaurant in Palo Alto not far from the stadium. I went there a couple of times and it's damned good but I promised myself to never go back… ever! Unless you do fitness four times a day for six months, it's simply a crazy stop.

The chat should relieve my frustration against IPTL. #3 in the world and Aggie was not picked by any city!?! What a joke when Flipkens who barely knows how to play was selected.

Gregoire, I'd like to try it out, I'm not afraid of gaining a few pounds, I can always starve later :) I love cheesecakes!

About IPTL, I don't know why they don't give players time to rest in the off-season.

Shu Avrilla, 1800, really? Wow! But it's ok if you don't eat much else that day. :P

There's one at The Grove in LA but I've only been there once :) and I live a couple of miles away. I'm not a big fan of the restaurant but I'm happy for Radwanska. She's finally becoming one of the top paid players and she deserves it.

    Cheers,
    Ashley
