Serena Williams took her clothes off for ESPN in 2009, Vera Zvonareva posed naked for the magazine in 2011 and this year Daniela Hantuchova exposed her skin for the famous ESPN edition. At the ESPN Magazine's Body Issue 2012 party in Los Angeles, in her favorite California, the slim Slovak showed only her signature long legs, but you could see much more of her body in the magazine in her hands.
How did Daniela decide to pose naked for ESPN?
I'm always open to new opportunities, so I figured why not? I wanted to do it with class and not show too much of anything, but as an athlete, I'm pretty confident about my body, so I guess I'm not afraid of anything.
The 29-year-old Hantuchova also gave an interview to ESPN, talking predominantly about her athletic body. Here's my favorite part, where she talks about the most surprising thing about her body:
Thing that might surprise you is how much I can lift. It doesn't show up on me, but I love doing squats and lunges and I can handle a lot of weight. I can squat 150-175 pounds, and I can do lunges with 30-35 pounds in each hand.
The former world No.5 and winner of five WTA titles is always feeling comfortable showing her physical features. Remember the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue alongside beauties Maria Kirilenko and Tatiana Golovin? (photos via HCFoo's Tennis Blog and Hantuchova's Twitter)
