Gold dress for golden performance. Serena Williams, the 2012 Wimbledon champion in both singles and doubles, attended the Wimbledon Championships 2012 Winners Ball at the InterContinental Park Lane Hotel in London on Sunday.
Wearing a knee-length figure-flattering dress with see-through neckline and sleeves, the 30-year-old American showed off the curvaceous body that impressively produced 102 aces en route to the Venus Rosewater Dish.
Just hours after lifting the singles trophy in the final against Agnieszka Radwanska, Serena returned to the court and teamed up with sister Venus defeated Czech sixth seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka 7-5 6-4 for the ladies doubles title. Serena is now the proud owner of five Wimbledon singles titles and as much women's doubles titles at the grass-court Grand Slam.
If everything goes as planned, there will be no rest for Serena. This week at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, she's the top seed and defending champion! After a first-round bye, her campaign is set to start on Wednesday. (via The Slice)
