Players bring their vision of fashion to Sony Ericsson Player Party

Player parties provide a perfect venue for players to get in touch with their glamorous side (if they have one) and the blue red carpet on Tuesday night at the Paris Theater in Miami was one of the best such occasions.

Let's start with my favorites. Russian Anna Kournikova simply knows what to wear and how to work it, while her countrywoman Vera Zvonareva looks very pretty in a romantic purple dress.

Although I've been in the mood for floral prints lately, Anastasia Plavyuchenkova's dress is too much for my taste. Maria Sharapova is still faithful to her vintage-oriented style.

I'm slowly putting Caroline Wozniacki in the Jelena Jankovic/Bethanie Mattek Sands fashion category – you know, the category that makes you say "what?". Down the Line has the full photos of their tight dresses – JJ loves to show off her body (rightfully, she has the best body on the Tour), and Caroline is inspired by colorful underwater world.

Venus Williams and Victoria Azarenka are also among the best dressed at this Miami party. Venus is shining, looking comfortable in her dress of choice, while Victoria opted for very smart clothes, but those that are always a safe choice.

Jarmila Groth is making her bra an integral part of her look. Agnieszka Radwanska looks alright, but I'm far from a fan of such dresses.

And… Dominika Cibulkova. As much as I hate the outfit, she's working it great and definitely made her presence known. (photos via Craig Hickman's Tennis Blog)

wow, Ana K. definitely proved SHE is the sexiest player of all time- she has this charisma that I doubt some other player will soon have… As for others- usual Maria pretty, JJ is good- she should stick with tight, as for Caro… I just don't know what to say. :D

Mirjana, even though Caro looks cute and young, I think she can look way better in something different.

I don't know anything about fashion, but it seems to me that Kournikova and Wozniacki prove the same thing: it's hard to be the best on both the court and the carpet! I agree with Marija, Wozniacki could do better.

Dear caro Danish tennis trainers are no good, I know, but you might consider a Danish stylist?

i told you one time CAROLINE HAS AN HORRIBLE SENSE OF FASHION !!! OMG!! at player's parties she always wears uggly outifits that for me are made for old women..but i have to say that this dress isn't more ridiculous that the dress that she used last year also at miami! If you see the pictures you can see that she doesn't feel confortable with that clothe.
CAROLINE YOU'RE ONLY 20! PLEASE USE CLOTHES FOR YOUR AGE!

Brenda, I can't imagine an old woman in Caroline's photos. To me, her clothes are the style I would've worn when I was 6, trying to look like a grownup :D

These are fun photos but what you have done with them is not ethical – you have covered up the copyright of the photo (which looks like it says tennis panorama)with your own google ads so you are making money off of someone else's photos! If the original owner of these photos saw this they would not be happy as this site is making money off them. This is what gives bloggers a bad name.

Nice photos but you are covering up the copyrights with ads! So you are making money off photos that don't belong to you.

TennisfanUSA, hey I found a quick and easy way to disable ads on individual pics. Great! :) Ads on photos are automatic, but I can manually disable them for some pics, which I didn't know I was able to do. Only Zvonareva I haven't found yet, but if it shows up I will disable the ad for it as well.

For the vast majority of my pictures I have rights.
