Sharapova and Azarenka debut their Nike US Open outfits in New York
Fellow blogger Rich from Down the Line stopped by Nike Primetime Knockout Event that featured Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer playing doubles with actor Bradley Cooper, model Bar Refaeli and New York Giant Justin Tuck on Pier 54 in New York City.

The players were debuting their US Open 2010 outfits. Sharapova was in the deep purple Nike dress intended for night matches, while Victoria Azarenka sported a day look, as she’s apparently not big enough to have an outfit for the night as well.
Serena Williams was also there, along with her huge boot reminding us that she will not play the upcoming US Open.

For more information from the event visit Down the Line Facebook page, Rich’s TwitPic and Twitter pages. I found the photos used in this article over at Forty Deuce, however, as they had the closest look at Maria's and Victoria's outfits and Serena's boot.

Masha could play with a bed sheet on and still look hot.
Forty Deuce DID NOT attend the event. Their photos are from AP, Getty etc… Be careful what you report.
Truth, I know Forty Deuce didn't attend the event, that's not what I said in the article. I just said that I used the photos found at Forty Deuce.
With that color it more looks like Divapova is wearing a Barney The Dinosaur outfit.
seen here http://usopen2010.nikemedia.com/#/Maria_Sharapova , I could have sworn that Masha's dress was blue, but actually in the picture above looks like purple eheheh… it is not a dress I 'd wear but overall I like it. Vika's outfit is always the same , it is nice but I do not like straps.
I'm watching now the match between Niculescu and Azarenka… Vika doesn't wear the grey and green outfit, but a black and white dress that on Tennis Wharehouse is called "Nike Women's NYC Control Court Dress"… I think it's the dress that Serena would wear if she had not injured… So it seems that Serena's injury has affected the Vika's apparel!!
Francesca, it's always like that with the outfits, you never know until the last moment. Btw, the dress is nice, I myself like black, but I would say that lively colors suit Vika better.
Here's a link to a closer look at the outfit:http://www.downthelinetennis.com/2010/08/fashion-fix-azarenka-ousts-niculescu.html
Yes, the dress is nice and I also particularly appreciate the black (or blue in general), personally I preferred Vika with her original outfit, but deep green fluorescent cuffs and visor refer to her style
eeeeeeeeeeeew, I can't stand that dress.. and that accesories..
