Yeah,it was always tragic to watch Dinara lose it in the final or semis. And I think the media pressure made the whole thing even worse. Her 2009 was pretty good considering the disappointments she had to overcome. She was working really hard and was consistent so I think she was a worthy no.1. And now she is still no.2 which is amazing. I bet Ana would be happy to swap… I hope she'll learn to handle things a bit better now, when she's not in the spotlight so much.

That's true, she made those finals boring, but her run to those finals was not boring at all. Safina's matches are very interesting, but yes, her Grand Slam finals were a total miss.

she was a chicken in all slam finals she was part of,and I hope we wont see her in a final anytime soon.Sanowa spoiled two slam finals for me in 09,I couldnt stand looking at her coach and their creepy interactions.

Fyoto, look she won Rome, Madrid, Portoroz, and played the finals of Sydney, Australian Open, Stuttgart, Roland Garros, and Cincinnati, so I wouldn't say her year was bad throughout. It was bad, however, that she failed to step up in the Grand Slam finals.

she should take a long break to heal her back and pysche,she was the butt of jokes throughout 09 so a lengthy break will do her some good.

Yes, she did. However, this year, she didn't. She doesnt even look at you, and it seems as though its a hassle to sign the kids autographs. Haha, i think sometimes a raw approach is appropriate
