All adidas outfits Dinara Safina wore during 2009
It’s high time we featured Dinara Safina in our retrospections of the WTA players' outfits. The Russian is not a fashionista like most women's tennis players, but during a large part of 2009 she was ranked No.1 and I think her adidas Competition outfits deserve to be included.
As you can see, Safina is wearing simple and sporty tennis clothes, without glitter and too many details. That sort of style suits the Russian perfectly and even though Safina's 2009 outfits brought nothing we hadn't seen before, they were very nice.
I especially enjoyed watching energetic Safina in yellow and black at the Australian Open. Also, the white Wimbledon outfit that I liked on Wozniacki, looked good on Safina as well.

because she doesnt have a bust, i think maybe some outfits are really tight on her cheast, and not very attractive to look at. However, my favourite was the Aussie Open.. I never saw the portoz outfit, and i quite like that one. My least favourite was the Sydney one

Dina deserves to be here she was world N 1 
She had simple outfits but I think they suited her perfectly 
She isn´t very femininely built and I can´t imagine her in Masha´s dresses 
My favourite are AO outfit and Portoroz but everything suited her so 
I think adidas comp line is the best choice for her 
Jelena s outfits look very cheap,mass production from a Beijing factory…probably a dollar each at the Beijing market.Her dresses are trashy looking like JJ.
I love the Portoroz outfit on her. It camouflages her flat chest and looks a little more feminine than her usual outfits, but also seems to suit her style. She looks good with tops in strong primary colors (red, yellow, etc.), but I wish Adidas would make sure they are long enough for her. Her gut is always hanging out.
Didn't like too much of her outfits. The Portoroz and US Open – Doha are definitely my favorites in what she wore this year. All of her outfits were pretty plain though, so is her outfit for AO 2010 (if she even plays).
I like her AO dress the best-love that mustard yellow color. I couldn't imagine her in Maria Sharapova's or Caroline's dresses, but I think these outfits suit her. But I think she has her brother's mentality when it comes to playing tennis: focus solely on it and don't preoccupy yourself with such a trivial thing as an outfit, which says something to her character-that she loves tennis a lot and isn't worried about sponsorships etc. when she's on the court. Though I wouldn't mind if she feminized her outfits a bit more =D
Lilly Marat doesn´t have to focus on his outfit cause he is naturally sexy

dina dresses for the sheer practicality… not for the sake of fashion alone… and any casual female tennis player would look good on her outfits….

I realy like her australion open outfits(dinara safina). I think that she must keep this simple style, it fits her body. She got a lot of muscles, an ordinary outfit is quite nice on her. No needs to have much more for her.
Dinara's outfits suit her, and I think that they are typical of what we should see on a tennis court. They are practical and sensible and some of them are quite nice. I like the Portoroz and the LA/Cincinnati/Toronto outfits the most, they look the best on her. Safina's outfits are a perfect representation of the fact that you don't need to wear pretty dresses to play great tennis.
