Kuznetsova only winning three games against Wozniak, Jankovic falling to Chakvetadze and Zvonareva losing to Mauresmo. At least in Zvonareva's case she was playing a former Wimbledon champion and world no.1 and she is coming off an injury. Vaidisova, Szavay and Hantuchova also have definitely not been at their best for some time now. Cibulkova also lost in three sets today. I wonder if Dementieva and Safina will follow suit or if they will be successful over the next three weeks. I am interested to see how the younger players like A Radwanska, Azarenka and Wozniacki adjust to playing on the grass. The sad thing is that it might get uglier. Cornet has not done well in 09 so far, she's out the top 20. Alize has not made it out of the second round 7 out of the last 8 tournaments, losing 4 times in the first round in that stretch. Kirilenko (the self proclaimed princess) is still M.I.A. for about a year along with her game. Here's an advise: Become a doubles specialist. Ana has not defeated a top ten opponent this year, in fact she has not beaten anyone in the top 20. The sad thing is that it might get uglier.
