And maybe being in the top 40 for the Race to the Sony Ericsson Championships. It would be pretty awesome if she ends up in the top 8 at gets a chance to play at the YEC. She only needs to reach farther rounds at the two Grand Slams and win a title. If my calculations are correct, she still has a chance (since a lot of players in the top 8 are having only 2000 something points), but then again those players will be winning as well so their points will be earning the same time. Hopefully due to Maria's low ranking, she won't be drawn against a top player in the first round. I would so upset if she was drawn against Venus. :P The lower-ranked players are randomly put right? But it was very painful in the second set, she could have made it 5-5 since Maria was leading 40-00 while trailing 4-5, the match could have went into a third set. She served pretty well today too, only two double faults and had 91% first serve percentage in the first set.
