Jelena Jankovic training for Roland Garros? Dressed up in Cannes?
Just as we thought Jelena Jankovic was busy training for Roland Garros, we see her all dressed up in the other side of France from Paris. For a good cause, though, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
Jankovic attended amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit at the Hotel du Cup during the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival in Antibes, France. The world No.4 was giving her share, as one tennis lesson with her and one with tennis legend Monica Seles were up for auction.
Additional info: I've just received an e-mail from Michele Marie PR, and they told me that the gown Jelena was wearing was designed by Georges Hobeika, a Lebanese designer based in Beirut. (via Tennis Forum)

marija, my picks for paris are:
dinara, sveta, venus, caroline and ana….no jj, serena or vika, seems the top four picks are gearing up for some serious run in the french, and ana seems to love the clay….i can't just ignore the two-time finalist and defending champ here…. jj had some serious clay court campaign, but her draw is so heavy, so too for serena, meeting the one who beat her on andalucia on the 1st round (forgot the name), vaidisova on the 2nd round, flavia on the 4th and sveta on quarters….and vika seems awkward on clay…
