could be true, marie. they may be emphasizing that tennis comes first so that people would leave their relationship alone, and focus more on their careers.

i think the maybes is just all about the newness of their relationship, and for now they are just trying to enjoy each others company; and i think they are beginning to realize the extent of the interest that people have in their relationship and they are playing it safe by not saying too much.
