Retrospection of Serena Williams' 2008 outfits

The 2009 season is getting closer and we're already talking about what the WTA players will be wearing at the start of the next year. We've already mentioned Serena Williams' 2009 Australian Open dress, but let's revise in chronological order which Nike designs the American wore during 2008.

Over at Tennis Forum they voted for Serena's Wimbledon outfit as the best one. I find the Australian Open one the most unique and memorable, probably because I like purple (you can tell by the look of my blog).

Which of the outfits you like the most?

BTW: Last year Women's Tennis Blog did a retrospection of Maria Sharapova's outfits, and I'm planning to do the same for this year's Nike dresses the Russian wore. Stay tuned.

Can you do retrospections of other players, too, besides Serena and Maria? Pretty please???
the Us Open dress was her best outfit of '08
Kristine, of course I can. Which player of the ones this blog covers would you like to see?
My personal favourite is Wimbeldon and Us Open. It would be really good to see maybe Danelia Hantuchnova and Venus Williams!
Good job.
(Australian open outfit isnt my favourite, but the most memorable- very different)
I wrote down your suggestion, Jacob. I'll work on featuring Venus and Daniela!
Could you feature JJ?
Kristine, thank you for your suggestion. I will work on featuring JJ.

I like the one from the Hopman Cup. Simple but nice. I found it elegant. The worst was the Olympics one.
I think all the ladies had nice dresses and shorts. I think the best shorts were the one Venus won her fourth Wimbledon. Her dress this year had viable taste on and off the court. Serena hot red dress she wore in the U.S. this summer was very nice.

The USO red really flattered her, and her Wimbledon dress and trenchcoat were nice. The RG ouftit was good (too bad her play didn't live up to it).
@Westerly Hm, I actually liked the USO red the least. The RG dress was classy.
i saw the doha outfit in action!
