Snow falls in Argentina, Fed Cup preparations not disturbed

For the first time in 40 years, snow fell in Cordoba, Argentina on Monday, but it was cleared so that Argentina and Canada could practice for their World Group II play-off tie this weekend. Luckily, it is expected that for the weekend the weather will be sunny and temperatures will be of around 15 degrees Celsius.

Argentine team is led by Gisela Dulko, accompanied by Jorgelina Cravero, Maria-Emilia Salerni and Betina Jozami. Members of Canadian team are Aleksandra Wozniak, Stephanie Dubois, Marie-Eve Pelletier and Valerie Tetreault. (source: Fed Cup)
